Church Street, ,
At the tip of the Black Isle peninsula lies the unspoilt historic port of Cromarty. Walk through its lanes and vennels and you can almost touch seven centuries of history.
The museum, in the town's eighteenth- century Courthouse, uses extensive research and modern technology to help you share our enthusiasm for Cromarty - past and present. Discover the eccentric Sir Thomas Urquhart and experience an 18th century trial in the courtroom.
We are next door to Hugh Miller's House and Cottage (National Trust for Scotland) - a joint ticket is available.
Open 7 days a week - 10 am - 5 pm until the end of October.
See our current temporary exhibition too...
